meet the mai !

i'm mai, a 24-year old queer, non-binary artist from finland :•) i use they/he pronouns ! i love to draw and make merch of all the different things i love. i draw mainly yaoi-themed fanart, but i also have silly original characters i love deeply. you can find me online under the username maieekman.i've been drawing my whole life, but finding stray kids really brought my spark back in late 2017, and i'm happy to have been able to keep it up ever since !i love drawing anything that makes me happy. at the moment those are mainly one piece, skz and silly animal clowns. i mostly use procreate for my art, but i also really enjoy working with traditional mediums every once in a while !i really love creating silly products, which is where my shop was born. seeing my creations become physical items brings me a lot of joy and i'm so grateful to be lucky to have other people enjoy them too !in the past few years i have started tabling at artist alleys and it's been super fulfilling and lovely, i hope i get to do it a lot more !my dream is to one day be able to do art for a living, but for now i'm super grateful to have found my own little corner on the internet full of wonderfully lovely people to share my creations with <3
